Sheffield Music Hub invited us to speak to their team and we did our first youth co-led workshop to a music hub. Theo was an incredible leader and demonstrated how to use our exercises, showcased his own writing and helped groups create their own ideas. He shared how he was a part of the project and how his voice was an essential part of how we learned and grew as a team.

Children's Capital of Culture

We delivered our first training workshop outside of our networks, working with music leads and teachers in Rotherham. We love sharing what we've learned, especially how to inspire people to write in creative ways. During the session, we explored songs written by our young people and demonstrated how to use found sounds and melodic motifs to craft inspiring tracks. If you'd like to learn more about how we can support your organisation with our Lyrical Genius training sessions, get in touch!

We wanted to find inclusive ways to enable children and young people to create a song about their town for Children's Capital of Culture. Tracks delivered a brilliant session for teachers, exploring creative and engaging ways to generate lyrics and sound motifs. As someone with no musical training, I loved the uses of word play, found sound and electronic music. Thanks to Lucy Revis, a safe space was created for us to play, experiment and share experiences. We are looking forward to using our new skills in the classroom and create a new song for Rotherham Music Services' One Voice. Dr Becky Parry, Creative Learning Manager,
